Miss Potter - The Movie
I recently watched ‘Miss Potter’ the movie about the very lady who brought ‘Peter Rabbit’ into existence, Miss Beatrix Potter. I cannot say that grew up reading her books or have read her books but I am well-aware of the influence she had in the world of children’s literature. The movie portrays her spirit to illustrate and the magic of ones imagination. As I watching, I found myself fully immersed into her world laughing and crying as though I had stepped foot into a different era I guess that’s what you call a magical feeling.
Furthermore, Beatrix Potter’s determination to publish her books in the correct way was truly inspiring as I myself want to be an accomplished illustrator and perhaps one day a writer as well.
From the well told story to beautiful landscapes of England this movie has left a remarkable impression on me. THEREFORE, I recommend it that anyone who is reading this blog. Do watch this movie and let your heart be filled with magic, inspiration and sheer goodness and spirits of a woman who still shines through her books and tales of the magical ‘Peter Rabbit’
